1970 Chevrolet Camaro Custom

The second-generation Camaro drove the high-performance heritage of its predecessor into the new decade with a winning combination of European-inspired styling and engineering refinements. A body-off rotisserie restoration turned back the clock for this 1970 Camaro and turned up the volume with a greatest hits collection of high-performance equipment. Two-tone red and black paint complements classic split bumper body lines, and chin and deck spoilers add competition style.

The custom painted and pinstriped cowl induction-style hood opens on Ring Brothers machined aluminum hinges, revealing a highly detailed showcase for the 327 CI V-8. The small-block engine is equipped with an Edelbrock intake and long-tube stainless steel headers for 425 HP output through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, and a Positraction 12-bolt rear axle puts the power to the pavement in equal measure. An aluminum radiator helps keep the potent performer cool.

A new Legendary Auto Interiors bucket seat cabin with center shift console and a Dakota Digital dash puts the driver in control of an updated suspension that improves on the original formula. Power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes join forces with four-corner adjustable coilovers and tubular upper and lower control arms for power-matched road control. Front and rear sway bars reduce body roll for flatter corner carving, and new 18-inch front and 20-inch rear U.S. Mags wheels with BF Goodrich g-Force tires grip the tarmac to keep the rubber side down.
