The car you are looking at here is set up as a great street driver, leaving the exotic engine pieces at the speed shop but upgraded throughout for enjoyable operation. Besides, it also hails from day one, being a first-year 1967 Camaro with Rally Sport trim. Beneath the hood is the 327 CI small-block Chevy V-8 engine, with a chrome-lid air cleaner, chrome valve covers with displacement decals, factory radiator shroud and clean engine bay. The engine uses the cast iron manifolds to feed the dual exhaust, and it is now backed by a 700 R4 GM automatic transmission with overdrive gearing, replacing the standard 1960s-era technology. For suspension, there is factory power steering and the further benefit of a brake system refreshing that put power disc brakes on all four corners, plus a fresh master cylinder and brake booster under hood.

The body is refinished in bright red paint with premium trim, including the RS option’s signature hideaway headlights. There is a black nose stripe, and this corresponds with this car’s black vinyl interior design. Again, since the RS option was applied, this is a deluxe version featuring front bucket seats and center console, contrasting white trim inserts on the seat covers, the RS-logo three-spoke steering wheel, pedal dress-ups and the not-oft-seen extra-cost power windows. A factory-style T-handle shifter is in the console, and the car also still has its Delco AM radio. However, the exterior has been enhanced with a cowl-style hood, the wide RS rocker trim, RS grille and gas cap, front fender insignia for the model and displacement, and dual outside mirrors. There has been a front and rear spoiler added, and the final touch are the American Racing wheels and radial-design tires. The result is a Camaro that will be great as a street ride or cruise night contender, because this one is still poised for action.
